The petition to the Biden Administration reads:

"Bring high-speed rail travel to the United States."

High-speed trains are now commonplace in many of the world’s most advanced countries. but there’s one place they are notably missing — the United States.

A viable, efficient train travel option is perhaps even more vital today than it was when America was in its growing pains. Not because it is our only means of traveling long distances like it was then, but because the current oil-fueled options of mass travel lock us into a dangerous system of pollution and carbon emissions that only further degrade our planet.

Pres. Biden has promised a new America with better, greener infrastructure. That must include efficient and affordable high-speed rail travel.
